The goal of the Charlotte Cobras Football team is to provide competitive entertainment in
support of area charitable institutions to promote a better community. The Cobras players
volunteer within the community and help raise money to support various local charities.
Since 2006, the Cobras have been a member of the National Public Safety Football League
(NPSFL), an expanding organization numbering 20 teams. Our members are the very same
public servants who support the Charlotte community and beyond in their professional lives.
Our athletes and administrators are predominantly Police Officers, Firefighters, Sheriff
Deputies, and Medics working throughout our community, but is open to all members of the
world of public safety.
As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on our volunteers to better the local community, but
we cannot achieve our goals alone. We need sponsorship to help ensure our immediate
viability, expand our operations, and plan for the future by generating revenue for a growing
list of charitable organizations that support children, families and first responders in our
The Cobras are a 501 (c)(3) organization, Taxpayer ID #20-3862439 and have donated over
$75,000 to various charities with the help of their corporate sponsors and loyal supporters.

While our focus historically has been on at-risk youth engagements which we will continue,
we are focused heavily on mental health awareness & wellness for first responders, military
and the community at large. Our mission is to take away the stigma of asking for help
seeking assistance for stress and mental health issues.
